Hello, I'm Nidhi.

I am an artist, a wife, and a mom, but my life has mostly been confined to the latter two for the last 25 years.

And it has been great!

I’ve loved traveling the whole country with my husband who serves in the military while raising our two children who’ve turned out quite well!

I’ve lived in:

• Kochi (Kerala),
• Vizag (Andhra Pradesh),
• Chennai (Tamil Nadu),
• Mumbai (Maharashtra),
• Karwar (Karnataka and Goa), among other places!

And through all that, I carried my art everywhere I went - slowly feeding it new ideas and drawing inspiration from it now and then for a custom made order, but mostly hidden away.

I’ve been an artist longer than I’ve been a wife or a mom. And now it's time for this passion project to outgrow its baby phase.

I’m going to start sharing my creations online. All these years my customers, family, and my children have told me to create a webpage but I was scared of the online world, and I still am.

But here’s a start. 

Everything that I post about will be something that I’ve created myself.

My creations will range from:

• Saris,
• Dupattas,
• Stoles and Scarves (Indian designs hand painted, block printed, or both)
• Paintings
• Stitching work on Potli bags, Tote bags. 

Every object will use the best quality material I can find, ethically sourced and sustainably used since I waste nothing.

I have suppliers for dyes, pigments, blocks, and fabric spread over Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai - so I guarantee quality.

I love to innovate and I hope you will see that in my work - creative, quality, authentic bits of Indian culture around daily life. And through it all, I will share my life story.
